Museums are obliged to carry out the following basic professional activities:
a) acquisition of collection items
b) professional registration of collection items and dismissal of collection items from professional registration
c) professional revision of collection items
d) safety of collection items
e) professional protection of collection items
f) scientific research
g) presentation of collection items administered by museums
Museums are not just about collections. They are mainly about the people who work there and whose work results can be seen in exhibitions and publications
